Learning2Drive Safe - Learner Driver Mentor Program

The TMC - Thriving Multicultural Communities Learn2Drive Safe program is an initiative funded by the Queensland Government’s Department of Transport and Main Roads, designed to support disadvantaged community members in acquiring essential driving skills. Recognising the unique challenges faced by individuals in our community, this program offers supervised driving sessions that aim to build confidence and competence behind the wheel.

Operating from our Southport office, the Learn2Drive Safe program utilises three registered and insured automatic vehicles, available Monday to Friday. To be eligible, participants must possess a valid Queensland Learner licence and demonstrate sound English language comprehension. This ensures that all learners can fully engage with the program and benefit from the lessons provided. Our qualified instructors are dedicated to delivering personalised lessons tailored to each learner’s needs, fostering a supportive and encouraging environment.

This program is specifically for Australian citizens, permanent residents, or individuals with a pathway to permanent residency. Beyond learning to drive, the Learn2Drive Safe program promotes greater independence, opens doors to employment opportunities, and enhances access to vital services and community resources.
