Domestic & Family Violence Advocacy and Support

The TMC - Thriving Multicultural Communities P.A.R.T Program, designed to empower individuals and families affected by domestic and family violence (DFV). We recognise DFV as a community issue that impacts everyone and believe in the importance of acknowledging those who have experienced it, regardless of gender, both past and present.

Our comprehensive approach focuses on four key pillars:

Prevention:

We work to raise awareness and educate communities about domestic violence, promoting strategies to prevent it before it occurs.

Advocacy:

Our dedicated advocates and counsellors support individuals in navigating available resources, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.

Referrals:

We provide connections to essential services, including legal support, counselling, and housing assistance, helping individuals access the help they need.

Training:

We offer workshops and training sessions to equip community members with the knowledge and skills to recognise and respond to signs of domestic violence.

Together, these pillars create a holistic support system aimed at fostering safer, more resilient multicultural communities.
