At TMC - Thriving Multicultural Communities, we are dedicated to fostering inclusive environments for migrants, refugees, and disadvantaged individuals, including Australians. As a not-for-profit benevolent institution, we passionately advocate for the rights and well-being of diverse communities, helping them thrive in their new surroundings.

Our federally funded Settlement Services program assists newcomers in their transition to life in Australia, while our core programs, funded by the Queensland Government, include the Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative, which enhances employment opportunities, and the Community Action for a Multicultural Society Initiative, aimed at strengthening community connections.

We operate from three offices across the Gold Coast and often utilise mobile offices to better serve our clients in various locations. This flexibility allows us to reach individuals who may face barriers to accessing our services, ensuring that support is always within reach.

Our services span vital areas such as training and employment, community engagement and development, youth programs, and senior support. We also address pressing issues like domestic family violence through targeted support services and counselling. Our Community Driving Program helps individuals gain essential driving skills, while our Culture Clubs provide spaces for cultural expression and connection.

What truly sets TMC apart is our dedicated team, composed of individuals from all walks of life, many of whom have migrant and refugee backgrounds themselves. This diverse perspective enriches our organisation and allows us to connect with our community on a deeper level. Our team speaks a combined total of 21 languages, enabling us to communicate effectively and compassionately with a wide range of clients. This multilingual capability ensures that everyone feels welcomed and understood.
